1. I have a job! I love my job and we are glad to have an income again. yay! Plus if I am going to be away from the kids it is wonderful to do something that I love and am passionate about.
2. Our church. We have several families from the church helping take care of the kids while I am at work. We love that the kids are not with strangers and we are saving money.
3. Calvin has such a sense of humor lately. He was singing "twinkle twinkle little moon" tonight. He tells me I am the most precious Mommy in 1 2 3. He quotes movie lines to me. He told me to stop celebrating mediocrity the other day. When I asked him what he was talking about he said "Like from 'The Incredibles' " Also tonight when I was changing his diaper and wiping him he started screaming "ABCs" like it was a curse word. He changes everyday; getting to watch him is such a joy.
4. Cordelia is saying mommy. or rather momimimimimi. So much sweeter than mama.
5. Jordan has been so great with me going back to work, watching the kids and taking on more housework. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, helpful husband.
6. Adam and Elizabeth! I am so stoked for their wedding, I can't even tell you. The other day I took my dress to get it altered and I was talking to Calvin about the wedding a lot. Later that night I asked Calvin if he wanted to go to Chili's, he had a complete screaming meltdown. I asked what was wrong and he kept saying he wanted to go to "Adam and Lizabeth's wedding" So Calvin is definitely excited too.
7. Play-Do. Calvin will play for play-do longer than anything. While he plays he says things like "We are having so much fun play-doughing" and "we are doing so many neat things." to himself.
8. We have been streaming "Medium" lately. Very Interesting show, love it.
9. My crockpot! It has been such a lifesaver to throw a bunch of food in it in the morning and then have dinner waiting that night and you can make anything in it. Fabulous.
10. I am struggling to come up with number 10. Sometimes this gets tricky. For number 10 I will be more generic and just say again that I am so grateful for my family. For my kids, my husband, his parents and siblings and grandparents. For my parents, and siblings, and nephew, and niece (coming soon), and grandparents and all other manner of extended family. I and my children are so blessed to have so many people who love us and are pulling for us and praying for us. Thank you all, we love you and we pray for you too.
